The youth of Avondale are very involved in NYU (Northland Youth United).

Avondale's youth group visits the home of one of our Youth Sponsors who also teaches Sunday School.

A few things we've done together:

·        Bonfire and football at Nancy’s

·        Halloween Party at Platte City

·        Trunk or Treat in our parking lot

·        Avondale’s 90th Anniversary in fashion

·       Christmas Party playing pool and taking a dip in the Hot Tub

·       Progressive Dinner at Christmas

·        The Craze – up all night with area youth

·        Youth Fest/Festival of Sharing

·        WOW (Conference-Level Event over a weekend)

·        Holy Thursday service

·        Silver Dollar City for Young Christians Weekend

·        30-Hour Famine

·        Worship in the Wilderness in Lawson, Missouri

·        Youth/Graduation Sunday - in charge of both services

·        Vacation Bible School

·        Church Camp at Camp Wilderness

·        Swimming

·        Bowling

·        Avondale night at the movies

·        Lock-In at Platte Woods and Worlds of Fun for a day

·        Fishing ducks out of Brush Creek for the Synergy Services Duck Derby

·        Sunday School with rotating teams of adults
